AIT and ZJU Visit Thonghathai Farmer Academy : Showcasing New Theory Agriculture

สถาบันเทคโนโลยีแห่งเอเชียและมหาวิทยาลัยเจ้อเจียง เยี่ยมการดำเนินงานของศูนย์เรียนรู้เกษตรทฤษฎีใหม่ทองหทัย สิ่งแวดล้อม เกษตรอินทรีย์ และการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน

ด้วยความตระหนักด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมและทรัพยากรธรรมชาติที่เป็นวาระสำคัญของประชาคมโลก คณาจารย์ นักวิจัย และนักศึกษาจากสถาบันเทคโนโลยีแห่งเอเชีย (AIT) และมหาวิทยาลัยเจ้อเจียง (Zhejiang University) สาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน ได้เข้าเยี่ยมชมและศึกษาดูงานการดำเนินงานของศูนย์เรียนรู้เกษตรทฤษฎีใหม่ทองหทัย อำเภอชะอำ จังหวัดเพชรบุรี เมื่อวันที่ 18 กรกฎาคม 2569

การศึกษาดูงานครั้งนี้เป็นการแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้แนวทางการขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืนในหลากหลายมิติ ได้แก่ การน้อมนำหลักปรัชญาของเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงและการบริหารจัดการทรัพยากรธรรมชาติในระดับครัวเรือน การดำเนินงานการผลิตข้าวอินทรีย์ที่ได้มาตรฐาน Organic Thailand พร้อมการเตรียมความพร้อมของพื้นที่นาก่อนเข้าสู่ฤดูนาปี ตลอดจนการเรียนรู้ด้านจิตอาสาและการต้อนรับจากเยาวชนนักสื่อความหมายของกลุ่มท่องเที่ยวโดยชุมชนตำบลนายาง

ทั้งนี้ ศูนย์เรียนรู้เกษตรทฤษฎีใหม่ทองหทัยยังคงขับเคลื่อนภารกิจของโครงการอย่างต่อเนื่องครอบคลุมหลายด้าน อาทิ การผลิตข้าวอินทรีย์ การพัฒนาศักยภาพกลุ่มเกษตรกรและชุมชน การจัดการแหล่งเรียนรู้ การสร้างความตระหนักด้านดิจิทัล การท่องเที่ยวโดยชุมชน รวมถึงการดำเนินงานด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมและการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ

หมายเหตุ : มหาวิทยาลัยเจ้อเจียงตั้งอยู่ที่ เมืองหางโจว (Hangzhou) ซึ่งทั้งเมืองหางโจวและเพชรบุรีต่างก็เป็นเครือข่ายเมืองสร้างสรรค์ของยูเนสโก โดยเมืองหางโจวเป็นเมืองสร้างสรรค์ด้านหัตถกรรมและศิลปะพื้นบ้าน ส่วนเพชรบุรีเป็นเมืองสร้างสรรค์ด้านวิทยาการอาหาร

AIT and Zhejiang University Visit Thonghathai Farmer Academy : Showcasing New Theory Agriculture

Amidst growing global awareness regarding environmental conservation and natural resources preservation, a delegation of faculty members, researchers, and students from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) and Zhejiang University (ZJU), People's Republic of China, visited the Thonghathai Farmer Academy (THT) in Cha-am District, Phetchaburi Province, on July 18, 2026.

This study visit served as a platform for exchanging knowledge and daily practices on driving sustainable development across multiple dimensions. Key areas of learning included:

- New Theory Agriculture and Sufficiency Economy: The implementation of the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy alongside efficient natural resource management.
- Organic Agriculture: Organic rice cultivation adhering to Organic Thailand standards, along with field preparation procedures ahead of the upcoming main crop season.
- Community Engagement: Learning initiatives centered around volunteerism and a warm welcome extended by local youth from the Na Yang Community-Based Tourism Group.

This exchange represents another milestone in disseminating Thailand's local wisdom and sustainable development paradigms to peers. In addition, based in Hangzhou, Zhejiang University shares a unique connection with Phetchaburi; both cities are designated UNESCO Creative Cities. While Hangzhou is recognized for crafts and folk art, Phetchaburi holds its title in gastronomy.

Thonghathai Farmer Academy (THT) continuously drives various project missions across multiple dimensions to foster long-term community and societal resilience:

Agriculture and Community: Promoting organic rice production, farmer group formation, and self-reliant community development.
Education and Digital Literacy: Managing co-working space for knowledge dissemination while enhancing digital awareness.
Tourism and Environment: Fostering community-based tourism (CBT) alongside climate change adaptation and environmental conservation initiatives.
